Elementary School Library

Elementary school Library for students to access. The library has sections for silent reading, leisure, board games, study and a BYOD zone. Elementary students visit on a weekly basis for a lesson where they are also able to take out books. They may visit during the week during allocated times to exchange or return books.

Youngest Coder Initiative

Youngest Coder Initiative - Our young students get the opportunity to use educational resources to begin learning programming and coding. This is integrated into their inquiry learning throughout the curriculum.

Grade 1 & 2 Department

Grade 1 and 2 classrooms and learning spaces are utilized by grade level students throughout the school day for all homeroom lessons. Homeroom lessons consist of ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies integrated through six units of inquiry over the school year. Additionally to this students will learn Moral Education and UAE Social Studies for non-native students. All other subjects are taught by specialist teachers such as PE, Drama, Art, Music, ICT and MOE subjects. Nutrition and Food

We only use fresh ingredients and do not utilize ready-to-eat or finished packed food like chicken nuggets, hummus, etc. giving our food a real ‘home cooked’ feel. Our attractive canteen offers children the chance to try new food whilst socializing with their classmates, with meals costing 15-20 AED. Fenway Park

We offer excellent facilities for a range of traditional US sports, including volleyball, basketball, softball and soccer. Both the large and small playing fields have artificial turf for use in all kinds of weather. The Elementary, Middle and High School sports areas include indoor and outdoor viewing galleries. Boston Common

Boston Common is utilized by all of KG and Elementary for recess and lunch time breaks. It contains a cafeteria for children to purchase food from our outside provider Food Nation. This area is a thoroughfare to access the school nurse, Faneuil Hall and Harvard Yard. It connects Elementary to Middle and High School. Grade 1-2 Outdoor Area

The Grade 1-2 outdoor area is used as an extension to the classrooms to be utilized for further learning opportunities. The area is furnished with equipment to develop gross motor skills and opportunities for self-directed play. There is a story circle and staging area for shared teaching. The whole outdoor area is shaded by large sails to protect the children from the sun.

The Elementary ICT Lab is used weekly for sessions. This is above and beyond the existing technology already available in classrooms. ICT is a 21st century skills that we aim to make use of throughout the curriculum. Students will come and learn specific technology skills such as programming and coding, computer skills, Microsoft Suite and internet safety. Our students will also have the opportunity to use equipment such as VR Goggles, Drones, Beebots, 3D printers and Lego Kits to develop these skills. Fashion welcomes students from grade 6 -12 to come and learn about design skills, fabrics, decorative techniques and sewing machines. KG Area

Our Kindergarten (KG) includes both KG1 and KG2. The minimum age for entry to KG1 is three years, eight months on the 1st of September or four years old by the 1st of January, for the year of entry. Drama

This is the Drama Room for KG1- Grade 8 students. We explore Drama concepts here through imaginative play and creative thought processes. Culinary Arts

High school and Middle school students come here to learn important life skills, healthy eating and practical skills to enable them to eat a healthy, balanced diet. Students will learn skills such as hygiene, safety, using the hob, oven and other equipment within cooking. This area also allows students to understand the processes followed in industry.
