Fountain of the Templar Cross

This fountain as a whole did not belong to the site of the mansion where it is currently located, it was located in the walls that surround the Romanesque Church of San Vicente de Serrapio. At some point in the 18th century, coinciding with the dismantling of the walled enclosure of the Church of San Vicente, it was moved to its current location. The exact date of its construction is unknown, but if its origin of Templar influence, related to the presence of the order in the church where it was originally located, for this reason its origin can be estimated in the Middle Ages.

Horreo Asturiano

Casona El Castañíu

La Casona is a traditional construction of the lower nobility or noble Asturian. The location of this mansion had a strategic meaning for the lord of the area, because in its vicinity there was an important passage of trade and merchandise between valleys. Dated its construction in the first half of the 18th century, a period from which all the main architectural elements are preserved, it is considered to have been erected on the basis of a much older construction, from which the builders were nourished, as evidenced by the elements primitives that are distributed by its structure.

La Casona de El Castañíu is an old Asturian mansion built in 1733, which has been rehabilitated respecting the original architecture and the typical elements of the Asturian Mansions, for use as accommodation and for holding events of all kinds.
