Greenscreen Studio
Our green screen studio offers the best conditions for television, movie & visual effects productions. With a large selection of cameras and lighting equipment, every film set can be staged here in an atmospheric way.
Visual FX
Visual FX students create film shots in the greenbox that are later combined with digital 3D worlds in postproduction. Those who are filmed in the greenbox can be anywhere in the finished film, whether in a desert, a big city or on the moon. There are no limits to the imagination. Booked Equipment
Students have access to a variety of photo- and video cameras, tripods, light units, etc. Booked equipment gets picked up here.
Movie Theater
Welcome to the movie theater. Our cinema offers the possibility to enjoy films in 4K-UHD and 3D. There is a 7.4.1 Dolby Atmos system for sound reproduction. The highlight of this room with its available equipment is the possibility of using it as a Atmos mixing suite for your movie or multimedia production.

Supervisors
The supervisors from all departments can be found here round-the-clock during the opening hours. They are specialized SAE alumni that are here to provide the students with support for their projects.
Practice Area
The interdisciplinary practice area with fully equipped workstations is located on the light-flooded ground floor of the SAE campus. This is where our students implement practical projects with the support of the supervisors. Students of all departments meet here - the perfect place to start exciting joint projects and to start networking.

The head instructors office can be found here. They are managing the departments and are available to give support and feedback during their office hours.
Streaming Studio
In our streaming studio, any show can be recorded or streamed live using multiple cameras. It can also be used for producing live radio shows or podcasts or as an editing and color grading suite for movie projects.
Games Lounge
This one is for gaming! Yes, but not ONLY for gaming. For example, VR equipment and 3D printers are also available here. Test your VR game or bring your self-designed 3D model to life - all inside this "Games Lounge".
Game Art

Welcome to studio 5 "Nevermind". When it comes to sound design, dialogue recordings or video post-production in stereo or 5.1 surround, this control room is the right choice
Regie "Master of Puppets"
Welcome to studio 1 "Master of Puppets". Everything from sound design for films and games, band recordings, electronic music production, mixing and mastering of complex productions in stereo and 5.1 surround can be done here.
Regie "Kind of Blue"
Here we are in studio 4 "Kind of Blue". This control room is particularly suitable for the first learning steps in terms of signal flow, recording and mixdown.
Regie "Sgt. Pepper"
Here we are in studio 2 "Sergeant Pepper". This studio is particularly suitable for complex band recordings and for the mixdown of large music productions.
Regie "Autobahn"
Welcome to studio 3 "Autobahn". In here we focus on electronic music production. A variety of sound generators and plugins are available.

This recording room is suitable for one-person recordings but also for recording several musicians at the same time. The signals can be routed to the control room via Dante (audio over IP) or in a classic analogue manner. A variety of microphones and instruments are available for recording.

This recording room is suitable for recording individual musicians or for dialogue recordings. The signals can be routed to the control room via Dante (Audio over IP) or in a classic analogue manner. A variety of microphones and instruments are available for recording.
