In what was a landmark moment in French sport, la Maison du Handball was opened in January 2019 by the French President Emmanuel Macron.  The Experts terrace

This is a place where you might just come across a French teams player or two. It's the ideal venue for a summer barbecue or a drink before dinner at Restaurant Les Experts.

The Chabala room

The Chabala room is fitted out with the latest technology: Click & Share-HDMI system, audio recording and video conference system. It can accommodate up to 30 people.

A home for everyone

The Federation's leaders have achieved their aim of making la Maison du Handball a place that belongs to the sport's entire family. It takes visitors on a fascinating journey into this exciting and accessible sport, and gives newcomers a chance to get to grips with the game through some fun activities and to share some good times together. 

Equipment

The auditorium in a few figures: - 30m² LED screen - 35m² stage - 300 seats, connected and equipped with a socket and a tablet, the first row of which can be converted for people with disabilities. - Hearing-loop system for the hearing impaired - Capability for 3 simultaneous screenings - HF microphone system - Lectern with gooseneck microphones - Recording system - 4 cameras system - Production control booth - A separation curtain

The interconnecting Schwenker and Yago rooms

The Schwenker and Yago rooms have natural light and can accommodate as many as 80 people between them.

Room Schwenker

The Schwenker room boasts the latest technology, such as a Click & Share-HDMI connection and a video projector.  It can accommodate up to 38 people and also interconnects with the Yago room.

Gym 1

Designed to offer our France teams the best possible environment in which to train and prepare, thanks to its state-of-the-art equipment, Gym 1 can also host your events.

The auditorium 

The state-of-the-art Auditorium Nelson Paillou boasts all the equipment and technology needed to host up to 300 people in the best possible conditions and give an extra dimension to your events.

Together, classrooms 1, 2 and 3 can accommodate up to 150 people.

Restaurant the 7

This space has been designed for our France youth players, the Federation's employees, and companies too. Completely versatile and flexible, it's ideal for hosting large receptions with up to 200 guests.

Room Yago

Equipped with the latest technology (Click & Share-HDMI connection and video projector), the Yago room has a capacity of 38. A versatile space, it interconnects with the Schwenker room.

Classroom 1

An outward-facing room with the latest equipment (touchscreen and a Click & Share-HDMI connection), Classroom 1 can be used to record and film your event.Classroom 1 has a capacity of 30 and interconnects with classrooms 2 and 3.

Restaurant Les Experts

Tell us what you are looking for (colour schemes, etc) and we can set the restaurant up to suit your needs.

Les Barjots lounge

Les Barjots is a relaxation area offering a quality service and first-class hospitality tailored to your needs, whatever the event you are looking to organise: cocktail receptions, buffets, interviews, conferences, gourmet meals and even karaoke nights. It's a very popular haunt for our France teams whenever they are preparing for a major competition. 

A partition can be used to adapt the auditorium to your event

The auditorium can be divided for use by smaller groups.

Lounges and restaurant of the Excellence Center

Movable walls

Movable walls can be provided to tailor spaces to the size of your groups or to create a flow between two groups.

The Boardroom

With seating for 54 people, this is the ideal venue for your board meetings. Like la Maison du Handball's other function rooms, it is equipped with the latest technologies: - 40 conference microphones - Click & Share-HDMI connection - 8 video relay screens - Audio recording system - Video conference system

Classroom 3

Classroom 3 can accommodate up to 30 people and also has a touchscreen and a Click & Share-HDMI connection.  It looks out on to the grounds of the Maison du Handball.A very bright room, it interconnects with classroom 2.

Classroom 2

Like classroom 3, which it can connect to if necessary, classroom 2 has a touchscreen and a Click & Share-HDMI connection. The room's picture windows make it a very bright space.  It has room for up to 30 people.

You can use connecting doors to go from a room to another one during your meetings and working group sessions.

The Roucoulette room

The Roucoulette room is fitted out with the latest technology: Click & Share-HDMI system, audio recording and on-demand video conference system. It can accommodate up to 30 people.

Room 4* PRM

What makes la Maison du Handball unique is its accessibility for people with reduced mobility, who have 12 rooms available to them. We decided to locate them all on the same floor to give sports and charity groups the best possible welcome.

Restaurant Les Experts

The doors of the Restaurant des Equipes de France will be open to you during your stay. Slip into the shoes of our champion players and get a taste of what life is like for them.

Room 4*

Each of our rooms is individually decorated. They tell the story of an international competition in which our champion players have excelled. The rooms can be set up as twin or single and offer all the amenities needed for an unforgettable stay. 

Rehab room

This is a space where France players can work in complete tranquillity. Easy to access, it is visible from the medical centre and the training pitch.

The history of handball and France's national teams

This curving wall takes visitors on an innovative, museum-style journey through the history of handball and France's teams since 1940.

The Roucoulette room

The Roucoulette room is fitted out with the latest technology: Click & Share-HDMI system, audio recording and on-demand video conference system.It can accommodate up to 30 people.

A bright and open classroom towards the Atrium which can accommodate up 30 people.

The spa

The spa is an essential facility for elite athletes: hot (38°) and cold (9°) baths, sauna and hammam.

Weights room

Handball players are outstanding athletes who need the very best facilities. Make the most of your stay and get to grips with this cutting-edge fitness equipment, some of it new on the market.You can also take things at your own pace by signing up for your very own fitness sessions with a coach.

The spa

A place to relax after training is an essential facility for elite athletes, the spa ensures optimal recovery with its combination of cold (9°) and hot (38°) baths, while the sauna and hammam help alleviate muscle pain and relieve stress. 

Movable walls

Movable walls allow the Chabala and Roucoulette rooms to be individualized or united.Together, these 2 rooms can accommodate up to 60 people

Lounge and restaurant of the Excellence Center

Recently refurbished, this very bright relaxation and catering space offers a wide choice of services (catering, interviews, cocktails, etc.).

A reception area

Designed to be an accessible, friendly and welcoming place, la Maison du Handball has an atrium with a bar. It is the perfect place for welcoming people, for a break between meetings or for a cocktail reception. And with its glittering trophy cabinet and interactive screens revealing the history of handball, it takes you right to the heart of our sport.
