2.- Philip V fortification study

Model from the Cabinet of Antiquities of Philip V, it has more than 3,300 polychrome silver figurines. In old catalogs it is described as having a mahogany cover inlaid with ivory. It is a compendium of fortification studies designed by the most prominent European military engineers between the 16th and 17th centuries.

1.- Indo-Portuguese store

It was initially assumed to be a gift to Charles V for his Tunisia campaign. However, heraldry linked her to Martín Afonso de Sousa, Portuguese admiral and governor of India. As a letter from 1636 shows, the store was sent to Castile and later donated to the Holy Brotherhood of Toledo. It is decorated with twenty cloths depicting cardamom flowers, the most appreciated spice in India for its aromatic and digestive properties. In one of the panels a caravel appears, a vessel that played a great role in the oceanic expansion of Castile and Portugal.
