Similar to a big opera house, an area 12 m long and 14 m wide is available for stage performances with a headway of 9 m. The forestage can be moved to and positioned at various levels and serves as a hoist. A change of scenes can be done quickly and easily using the available stage machinery.
The Montforthaus is both a concert hall and a lecture hall, equipped with the latest sound engineering ensuring excellent acoustic properties. Our own Steinway D-274 concert grand brings a golden sound into the hall.
Both the audience and the artists highly appreciate the excellent room acoustics, made possible by mobile acoustic sails, an orchestra shell and optimal sound radiation into the hall. Photo: ©MontforthausStage in the Großer Saal

Großer Saal
The Großer Saal, or big hall, is the core of the Montforthaus; it is suspended inside the building like a resonating body, encased in pear wood on the inside and outside.
A big stage with the latest lighting and sound technology. Multifunctional and extremely flexible – ideal for all big events with up to 1,150 participants: conferences, general assemblies, product launches, and – obviously – concerts.
The hall, which is designed for concerts, can also be optimised for all kinds of speech events such as conferences, symposiums or trade fairs, using flexible acoustic elements. Our in-house engineering team, with their many years of expertise, is permanently available to assist you.
The ground floor area of the big hall is 695 m² and can be used for multiple purposes; together with the Altstadtfoyer on the same level and the gallery on the first floor, a total area of 1,000 m² is available for your event. Photo: ©Montforthaus

The Altstadtfoyer, or historic city foyer, is a spacious divisible function room and lobby to the big hall. Its colour scheme of bronze is quite captivating, and it can be used for many different purposes.
As an extension of the big hall for receptions, on festive occasions, as a space for people to go during intermission, or as individually separable rooms for breakout sessions – you will always feel welcome here.
The Altstadtfoyer is equipped with state-of-the-art technology: big screen, meeting room and media technology, sound system, dimmable ceiling lighting to be controlled via touch panel from daylight white to warm white.

Monfortplatz
The Montfortplatz square is situated in the middle of the medieval historic district of Feldkirch. Only a few steps away, the vivid city offers many shopping facilities, cultural events and gastronomic diversity – and the unique view of Schattenburg castle is present everywhere.
The main entrance to the Montforthaus is located on Montfortplatz, as is access to the rooftop terrace restaurant E3. The extensive glazing of the atrium offers a view of the inside space, making passers-by feel like entering the building with barrier-free ground level access. The three adjacent inner-city squares around the convention centre merge into one wide outdoor space with fluent transitions.
The Montforthaus is located in close proximity to public transport options. The Montforthaus underground car park has 75 public parking places including specially marked loading stations, as well as parking suitable for persons with disabilities. 30 bicycle stands are available in the underground car park of the Montforthaus, and e-bike loading stations are available in front of the Montforthaus.
In addition to above-ground parking, the public underground car parks on Illplatz, Busplatz, at Reichenfeldgasse or Bahnhofcity offer another 600 parking spaces. Photo: ©Martin MischkulnigMonfortplatz
