SureColor SC-V7000
UV flatbed large format printer
The SureColor SC-V7000 is Epson's first UV large format printer, enabling sign companies to expand their product portfolios.
The SC-V7000 delivers exceptional image quality and the flexibility to print on a wide range of media. Designed for printing high-impact signage for retail and outdoor applications, as well as window displays, billboards, packaging, promotional items, and interior design, it offers a versatile range of applications, enabling companies to expand their product offerings and deliver consistently high-quality results.
High-quality prints
This UV flatbed printer offers excellent print quality and vibrant colors thanks to the 10-ink UltraChrome UV ink set for impressive results. The white ink offers high flexibility for printing a variety of products. It can be used as a base on colored media or for printing on backlit foil. Flexibility is also provided by the clear varnish, which can be cured clear or matte to highlight specific textures and effects.
Productivity
The SC-V7000 allows you to print at high speed on a maximum print area of 2.5 × 1.25 meters. The printhead layout allows for simultaneous printing of colors, white, and varnish without compromising productivity.
Flexibility in media selection
The printer supports a wide range of media up to 80 mm thick, including acrylic, polycarbonate, PVC, glass, aluminum, metal, polyester, foam board, styrene, wood, and stone. And with its 4-zone vacuum system, it offers comprehensive flexibility for production environments.
Easy to use
The printer automatically adjusts the printhead height depending on the media thickness and also features a crash sensor to prevent potential printhead damage. The ionizer eliminates or reduces the media's static electricity, ensuring ink droplets are placed precisely in the correct location. This ensures high and consistent print quality.

EP-101
The world's first smallest digital printer - and ancestor of Epson
September 1968 The EP-101 was the world's first compact, lightweight digital printer- and the origin of Epson's printer business. Representing a major breakthrough in printer size and with a simple structure, the EP-101 boasted outstanding durability and reliability. The product quickly captured the attention of electronic desktop calculator manufacturers at a time when their products were basking in the spotlight. Not only did these miniature printers find their way into calculators but they also gained use in a wide variety of other information processing equipment and measuring instrument applications.
The EP-101 consumed just one-twentieth the power required by any previous printer: 17 volts DC and from 150 to 410 mA (in standby and full-load printing, respectively). To bring the printer to realization, Epson* engineers made skillful use of the material selection know-how and other precision processing technologies that the company had developed over the years in watch manufacturing. For example, the printer was powered by an original high-efficiency, long-life motor that had been adapted from a motor used in quartz timepieces.
The EP-101, released in September 1968, was the culmination of several years of development programs, after Epson found the possibility of miniature printers through the development of printing timers for sporting events, and then for commercial versions of the printer organized the resources for development. The commercial EP-101 dovetailed perfectly with the needs of manufacturers of such items as electronic desktop calculators and adding machines, winning it widespread attention - and orders - after its release.
In 1975 the Epson brand was launched with the hope that the company would continue to produce the "sons" of the EP-101.

Print quality

Black Enhanced Overcoat (BEO) technology delivers deeper blacks, improved contrast and tonality, and reduced bronzing in dark areas on glossy media.
Productivity
This production printer offers impressive print speeds and 1.6-liter ink bags for less user intervention. In fact, the SC-P20500 requires about half the ink changes compared to its predecessor, the SC-P20000. It also features a 960 GB self-encrypting SSD, allowing you to save and reprint directly from the touchscreen, without the need for a PC.

The SC-P20500 features a highly intuitive 4.3-inch (10.9 cm) LCD touchscreen. Even loading heavy roll media is very easy thanks to the roll adapter.
Reliability
The automatic nozzle verification technology (NVT) ensures reliable reproduction by adjusting the nozzle conditions.
