The Welch Barn
Nestled into Moonlit Ridge’s 56-acre property rests the newly renovated Welch Barn. This 19th-century barn has been beautifully and thoughtfully restored to embrace the charm of the past while providing modern touches and amenities. This is a highly versatile space that is perfect for a variety of indoor events. The Welch barn boasts a crisp and fresh design, incredible views, updated features, and a cozy, bright atmosphere. The barn can comfortably accommodate up to 110 guests for a simply gorgeous event of any kind.
Ceremony Area
Our ceremony area is a truly impressive space encompassed in natural beauty! This is the perfect spot for wedding ceremonies or elopements of any size. Your guests will be awestruck as the wedding party makes a grand entrance down the aisle. You’ll feel the majesty of the moment even more keenly, surrounded by nature and breathtaking views. Your photographer will find ample opportunity to frame you within this natural canvas. . .
Kai Pavilion
Welcome to Kai Pavilion! This gorgeous 80’ by 40’ open-air pavilion overlooking the mountains is a flexible and open space that can be used for just about any event! Host the wedding reception of your dreams, a rehearsal dinner and beautiful cocktail hour, a successful fundraiser, or a corporate event that your staff will remember for years to come!
Skye Terrace
Lounge and enjoy cocktail hour on Skye Terrace. This 40’ by 50’ patio space features a firepit, scenic views of the mountains, stone features, and ambient lighting. Skye Terrace is great for cocktail hour or an after-reception hangout. This is also a great space to host a fire a smores the night before the wedding.
Luna Lounge
The Luna Lounge is unlike any other beauty lounge you’ve seen at a Maine wedding venue! This swoon-worthy suite is the ultimate spot for the wedding party to feel pampered and get glammed up before the wedding ceremony! The Luna Lounge features top-of-the-line design details and includes two makeup stations, two hair stations, plenty of electrical outlets, and plenty of space for stylists and makeup artists to set up. The suite is also a gorgeous spot for the wedding party to take photos before the ceremony!
Harbor's Hideaway
Harbor’s Hideaway is designed as the ultimate hideout for the wedding party to unwind as they prepare for the ceremony. Once you enter through the black and glass garage door, you’ll find a rustic industrial design complete with exposed wood details, comfortable leather seating for lounging, and even a foosball table. Harbor’s Hideaway is also a great space for the wedding party to take photos before the main event! Once the wedding party is ready, the ceremony will be conveniently held just steps away.
The Main House
This is the ideal space for the wedding party or family to stay during a wedding weekend or a mid-week wedding. The Main House is conveniently located just steps away from the rest of the estate. Guests can arrive, unwind, and enjoy the entire wedding experience while staying in one gorgeous location. The newly remodeled house boasts plenty of space for friends and family to connect and relax during their stay. The Main House features five bedrooms with two full baths and can comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests.
Newlywed Suite
After an amazing evening the couple can stay in the gorgeous and freshly redone Newlywed Suite. This charming space features high ceilings, a full kitchen, a romantic bathroom, and exposed wood details.
Caterer's Quarters
This private and newly constructed prep space for vendors features brand-new appliances, including a warming and plating station, ample counter space and lighting, a refrigerator, and sinks. Though this isn’t a full kitchen, it has everything your caterer will need to make your big day as delicious as it is beautiful. You won’t have to worry about food at all with your caterer able to set up on-site. The Caterers Quarters is conveniently located just steps away from the rest of the venue spaces, allowing for easy access and quick service. Vendors will find plenty of parking upon arrival and a short walk to their prep space.
DJ Booth
Uniquely positioned above the crowd, the music booth in the Kai Pavilion allows the DJ to look out over the partygoers and adjust the music and lighting as needed to keep the energy up!
