WELCOME
The Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology (IMMG), founded as a non-profit in 1989, has introduced thousands to Idaho's geologic and mining history. It is mainly volunteer-run.
LOCATION AND OPENING HOURS
The Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology moved into the Trustee Dorm of the Old Penitentiary in 1992. Current opening hours: 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm Friday & Saturday; Sundays 12:30pm - 3:30 pm.
