Szentgotthárd is Hungary's westernmost town, located in Vas County, right next to the Austrian border and close to the Slovenian border. It lies at the confluence of the Rába and Lapincs rivers, in the southwestern part of the county, and has a subalpine climate due to its proximity to the Alps. The town is the center of the Slovenian community in Hungary, in the heart of the Vendvidék, where Hungarian, Austrian, and Slovenian cultures meet. To the south, it is bordered by the Őrség National Park.

The yard includes several outbuildings, storage rooms, a summer kitchen, and a double garage, all made of brick and fully renovated in 2022. Behind the property, there is a 1,500 square meter wooded area.
