Kavalierbar – Your Exclusive Event LocationYou will find a very special event location on the 1st floor of the Grand Hotel Wien: The Kavalierbar.With its open bar, comfortable sofas and armchairs spread throughout the room, the view of Vienna's famous Ringstrasse on one side and the imposing lobby on the other, the Kavalierbar is the perfect venue for exclusive company celebrations, cocktail parties, vernissages, fireside chats, after-work get-togethers and private parties for up to 50 people.The Kavalierbar is especially suitable for seated dinners, business lunches or tastings. A long table in the middle of the room seats up to 32 people.Let our bartenders pamper you with creative cocktail creations or create a personalized selection of drinks for your guests. A live music performance can be organized upon request. There are no limits to the possibilities of celebrating a very special party in this wonderful atmosphere.

Grand Guglhupf

Guglhupf – a Viennese traditionGuglhupf is one of Austria's most traditional and best liked pastries. The Viennese enjoy the sweet delicacy for breakfast, as a dessert or as part of a coffee or tea break during the day.At the Grand Hotel Wien Guglhupf is being baked according to a secret recipe that gives it a delicious moist and fresh taste. For the Grand Guglhupf, no artificial additives or flavors and only the best ingredients are being used. And this can be tasted!---Grand HoneyMore than 70.000 bees have been accommodated on the rooftop of Grand Hotel Wien. They will spend the winter at the bee keeping farm, under the surveillance of the Viennese beekeeper Felix Munk. It was the greatest honor to us, having contributed to the protection of bees - the bees have been kept according to biological guidelines, therefore the harvested honey is called "organic honey". 

The Ballroom Quadrille

The ballroom, called “Quadrille” after a famous dance, is one of the biggest in Vienna at 456 sqm. Located in the second basement of the Grand Hotel Wien it has the capacity for up to 500 people.The elegant ballroom impresses with a beautiful wooden floor in the middle, a stylish mirror wall in the front and state-of-the-art technical equipment. The Quadrille is the perfect location for balls, weddings and big conferences as well as gala dinners  

Salon 1-3

Located in the first basement of the Grand Hotel Wien, the 3 Salons are a very good choice for small meetings. The rooms are styled traditionally featuring a board table and comfortable chairs.

Since the Grand Hotel Wien opened in 1870, the Hotel has achieved fame and notoriety by being at the very hub of Viennese social life. The Grand Hotel Wien´s glittering past and shining future were fused together when the Grand Hotel Wien re-opened in 1994. Despite its long and rich history, the Grand Hotel Wien is one of the most modern and luxurious hotels in Austria today.The 205 rooms and suites guarantee luxury, comfort and convenience. Exquisite fabrics, rare antiques, classic decoration and state-of-the-art technical equipment will make you feel thoroughly at home.The so-called "Quadrille", named after a famous dance, is one of Vienna´s biggest ballrooms with a total capacity of 500 persons. The additional 11 venues are either decorated in traditional "Grand Style" or very modern with daylight and partly wooden floors.

The gallery, located in the first basement, is the perfect venue for dinners, cocktail receptions as well as important meetings.The gallery with its size of 88 m2 is overlooking the ballroom, which adds an impressive view.For big events clients have the opportunity to use both the gallery and the ballroom.
